Coronavirus: Is the curve really going down or is the government lying to you?

PETA.
“The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s heading up to about nine billion. Now if we really do a great job on new vaccines, health care and reproductive health services, we could LOWER that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.” ~ Bill Gates

Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Namaste. During this this time period as folks are getting cabin fever as the upcoming days become warmer as summer is fast approaching and one thing I’ve noticed in regards of the weather nowadays but don’t want to speak too soon just yet, meaning shouldn’t the weather be warmer? I mean since we are in the month of May, shouldn’t we be putting our heavy sweatshirts away during the day and the temperature averaging to 70 something degrees during the day as the average high? I wouldn’t be surprised if it is somehow connected to global warming, the chemtrails and the contrails to how it effects the weather... Here is an article on chemtrails for you to read at your own leisure: The Government’s Hidden Agenda: A Look Inside Chemtrails. A lot of this is making me question everything in the chain of events and from my perspective, I smell a rat! Before we go on with today’s lesson in the classroom boys and girls, I wanted to inform all of you that I’m doing my own research with an open mind and an open heart without any type of judgement (positive or negative). I've also provided my own opinions and I don't expect many of you to agree with me at some point in this blog. I hope we got that cleared up before we go on with the lesson and I’m going to provide everyone with an unbiased opinion of what I am thinking and feeling. Yet, I am aware of the internet trolls and how these low energy individuals love talking mad junk about whatever lesson plan is or rather topic of discussion. No, I am not a conspiracy theorist and no, this blog is not one of those fearmongering blogs, nor am I trying to intimidate people into feeling a certain type of way. It’s up to you on what you want to do with this knowledge, whether if you want to pass it along to your family and friends then I don’t mind. However I’m not buying into the whole Coronavirus and the Kawasaki Disease but I refuse to get vaccinated or have the microchip implanted in my body, which is known as The Mark of the Beast.

“At the highest levels of the medical cartel, vaccines are a top priority because they cause a weakening of the immune system. I know that may be hard to accept, but it’s true. The medical cartel, at the highest level, is not out to help people, it is out to harm them, to weaken them. To kill them. At one point in my career, I had a long conversation with a man who occupied a high government position in an African nation. He told me that he was well aware of this. He told me that WHO is a front for these depopulation interests.” ~ Jon Rappoport interview with ex-vaccine Researcher
Everything that is being presented to us through predictive programming such as the news media, television shows such as The Simpsons, and movies that leads to what we’re currently experiencing. Everything is very suspicious indeed with the events leading to now and I’m questioning everything. Agenda 21 which was created on April 23, 1992 by the United Nation... Anyway, Agenda 21 is not good because the government and Bill Gates are looking to depopulate the population through creating AIDS/HIV; through September 11, 2001 killing 2,996 people and 25,000 injured (nonfatal); all these viruses such as West Nile Virus, Bird Flu, Ebola, and now this, the Coronavirus. One thing is that businesses, schools, and public libraries remained opened during the West Nile Virus, Bird Flu, Ebola outbreak but why all of a sudden people are unemployed, non-essential businesses closed, schools and public libraries are currently closed. Let's see, there's these I've found online: 'Zika Virus, Rockefeller’; The Hill’s ‘More than 30 million on lockdown in China amid coronavirus outbreak’; New York Times ‘Toll From Outbreak Climbs in China as Infections Reach Europe and Australia’; Foreign Policy ‘As the Coronavirus Spreads, Conspiracy Theories Are Going Viral Too’; Fast Company ‘Why Bill Gates Is the focus of the latest coronavirus conspiracy theories’; and Washington Post’s ‘The billionaire who cried pandemic’. I am absolutely not buying into the whole Coronavirus and the Kawasaki Disease because I do believe that both diseases or rather viruses had been created in a laboratory then the Coronavirus was brought to Wuhan, China most likely out of anger due to a lack of funding by the American government or there was some type of disagreement and the scientist had taken the Coronavirus to Wuhan, China or there could have been a disagreement between governments. It’s extremely interesting that this particular docuseries just came out as the Coronavirus was snowballing into what it is, it is interesting but very suspicious indeed that Pandemic: How to Prevent an Outbreak was released on Wednesday January 22, 2020 and there's an article from The Los Angeles Times titled: A Netflix series predicted a global pandemic. It was dismissed as ‘a show about the flu’. Predictive programming much? Yeah, note the sarcasm ladies and gentlemen! This is a Problem-Reaction-Solution because the government wants to desensitize your mind, the government is not looking out for us and they are only looking out for themselves on how they can depopulate the planet. They've done it with September 11, 2001 by bringing down the Twin Towers killing by blaming the nineteen hijackers or rather Al-Qaeda knowingly it was most likely an inside job. The September 11, 2001 is for another blog for a later time. The government is up to something suspicious and I am not buying into the Coronavirus since the government wants to put in place New World Order as we're being quarantined. Do not expect me to get the vaccine or a chip implanted in my hand that can potentially kill me, no thank you. I would rather die from a gun shot wound to the head than get vaccinated and chipped. Here is a New York Times article that I found intriguing because I do feel that the Chinese government wanted to "silence" this doctor by making seem like he "mysteriously" died from Coronavirus. However, I am not buying into the lies and deception the government tells us. Here's the link for Chinese doctor: Chinese Doctor, Silenced After Warning of Outbreak, Dies From Coronavirus'. Hmmm, word on the street is that this doctor was called a "Whistleblower" and I’m hoping to somehow find a way to communicate with this doctors' spirit through Outer Body Experience. There is a video posted on YouTube in March, however YouTube had deleted this video by Truth Unveiled 777 and the name of this video is: YOUTUBE DELETED THIS VIDEO BECAUSE IT’S THE TRUTH!!! And it’s roughly a half hour long.
"How is it that mercury is not safe for food additives and Over the Counter drug products, but is safe in our vaccines and dental amalgams." ~ Dan Burton
This is going to get real interesting from now until early 2021 and who knows what the future brings. I’ve seen several YouTube videos where these individuals mentioned ‘H.R.6666 - COVID-19 Testing, Reaching, and Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act’; and here is an article from The Washington Times titled ‘H.R 6666 a devil of a COVID-19 government surveillance plot.’ I’ve recently watched a video by JonXArmy and this dude warns ‘They are coming to your front door!’; 'I am speechless'; and 'Inflated Numbers! We got scammed!'; 'Things are not always as they seem!" where he speaks of the H.R. 6666 - COVID-19 Testing, Reaching, and Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act in They are coming to your front door! video. I believe it was JonXArmy who briefly mentioned this movie: 1984 and I’ve never heard of this movie. I’m not taking this vaccine or accepting the Mark of the Beast. I realize the 1984 movie came out in 1956, long before I was born and the movie was filmed in black and white. There is an article titled: ‘Did the Orwell’s ‘1984’ get lost in the movie?’ It is a crazy time we're living in at the moment and I suppose it's time to get our hands dirty a bit in research. Children don't understand what is going on and it is very heartbreaking that we have to live like this. Oh and let's not forget that this sounds very suspicious that there is a "new" strand of virus called the Kawasaki Disease. Everything sounds very suspicious indeed with how everything came into small events leading to what it is. The government and scientists know that summer is right around the corner so in contrast, the government and scientists want to keep us home even more while they distract us with these "viruses" while they work their magic. I realize that I sound insane but with enough research comes more knowledge and I am not buying into this, nor am I afraid to go out. I have places to go and business to take care of because there isn't enough time in a day to worry about some virus. From my perspective, if people such as Bill Gates and the government are “so” concerned about the general population of the world then why not promote healthcare that works for everyone tailored to everyone’s needs as well as people’s pre-existing health issues; educate people on different types of birth control but not limited to the day after pills; condoms; abortions; however, be stricter about how you raise your sons (makes no sense to be strict with your daughters but baby the shit out of your sons with a pat on the back for every time he gets laid which is why your sons are a bunch of spoiled brats or rather assholes that they are, oh, don’t get angry at me for being honest. Look at the reality around you, you see men raping women and inappropriately touching underage girls that are old enough to be their daughters or sister but get angry when people disrespect their mother, hypocrite much?) and to be better respectable men instead of animals for assholes; and have conversations with your children on the reality of the world. We have to do better and this shit is getting out of hand, common sense (wake up sheeple). Here is an additional reading resource titled: Fact check: Hospitals get paid more if patients listed as COVID-19, on ventilators. Many of the articles listed in this blog are to be read at your own leisure.
”I do not trust those who make the vaccines, or the apparatus behind it all to push it on us through fear.” ~ Billy Corgan

There is another YouTuber who is one of those conspiracy theorists, A Call For An Uprising and yes, he may come off as a whack job. In contrast, I will let you decide for yourselves and create or rather form your own opinion if necessary. There is a video posted earlier this month titled: 'Share this! This should scare people straight and wake them up...'; ‘EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEE THIS! THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS COMING IN 2020...’; '100% PROOF THAT THIS WAS PLANNED IN AN ADVANCE...'; ‘Proof that social distancing has been planned for a long time!'; and 'If you haven't seen this yet then watch it and share it and learn...'. Everything in movies have this predictive programming to dumb people and movies should make you question everything, I mean everything. The one thing that is interesting, the economy did not shut down, people did not wear masks but it was optional at the time, people weren't on lock down or rather quarantined in fear. The economy did not shut when there was the SARS (Severe acute respiratory syndrome), Bird Flu (also called H5N1, Avian Influenza), Ebola, and MERS - CoV (Middle East respiratory syndrome). It's really interesting that there's a movie called ‘5-Feet Apart’ that came out on March 15, 2019 but notice the date from a year ago and the time period this year when many places "closed" down or rather when the economy had shut down due to this fake fearmongering pandemic. Here is a trailer for the movie: ‘5-Feet Apart’ and if you're a bit of a bookworm like myself, ‘5-Feet Apart’ by Rachael Lippincott. Don't believe the hype that the government "tells" you and it's time to rise up and fight back. Not through violence but through a peaceful protest and forget about social distancing! Stand back and look at the bigger agenda. All in all, I will leave you with these last two videos and I hope this blog has somehow opened your mind to the New World Order, Freemasons, Illuminati, the Rockefellers, the Rothschild. Here is a little history for you: Meet the Man Who Started the IlluminatiOne Man Exposed the Secrets of the Freemasons. His Disappearance Led to Their Downfall; and Rothschild Family. I'm sure this one particular video has nothing to do with the Coronavirus or the government wanting to take away our freedom, 'The truth about mobile phone and wireless radiation -- Dr. Devra Davis'; and 'Call for Arrest of Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates. Fauci may be part of Syndicate?' As a result, Asians are being targeted for the Coronavirus and it’s not right because I don't condone this type of behavior. As an Asian American, it makes me nervous but then at the same time, I've had people ask me if I'm Puerto Rican, Dominican, Korean, Hawaiian or Filipino. People are somewhat correct and I’m Chinese and Panamanian American but I do have some Filipino from my grandmother's side. My grandparents and both of my uncles on my mother's side are Chinese immigrants from mainland China. Here is an article from Daily News: Man harassed, spat on Asian people, blaming them for coronavirus in series of racist attacks: cops. The one thing that makes my blood boil is hearing white people telling people who don't "look like" them to go back to where we came from and one thing for sure is that I haven't heard any Native Americans telling the white man to go back to Europe and I secretly hope someday white people will have a taste of their own medicine!!! What goes around, goes around and Lady Karma will go after them. They have it coming to them for everything they have done to the Indigenous people since the Indigenous people were here first and I personally do not celebrate Christopher Columbus Day since he was nothing more than a thief who stole land from the Native Americans! However, I am going to give you the freedom to decide for yourselves and draw up your own conclusion on the Coronavirus. Wake up and see what's really going on in the world sheeple! Research is key to survival. I think Arnold Schwarzenegger said it best: "Come with me if you want to live" from 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day' and it’s best to do your own research because knowledge is power.

On a final note: At the time of this blog, several YouTube channels are currently active and who knows how much longer the algorithm will hold back the truth on what's going on in the world brainwashing the masses. It's time to wake up people because you're being deceived by the government trickling down to what you watch on the evening news. You can chose to live in denial and trusting the government or you can look at the picture and question everything.

Blessed be,
Jennifer

Ethical choices

“If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian.” ~ Paul McCartney.
Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! It's been five years since my blog titled: 'A Foolproof Guide to Vegan or Not to Vegan' and figured I'd update everyone on my decision whether or not if I'd still go vegan in hopes of gradually eliminating meats and diary products from my diet which is still a yes on my end but with some obstacles. I’ve been looking into the health benefits of going vegan or rather plant-based and have been intrigued by the lifestyle. In the beginning, I’ve heard celebrities such as BeyoncĂ©, Jay-Z, Serena Williams, and another athlete doing the 22 day vegan challenge. Which had gotten me very curious on what the health benefits of going vegan if I ever went down that route, and the first book I read about the benefits of a vegan lifestyle was Kathy Freston, I’ve found an article on Vanity Fair titled: ‘The Vegan Monologue’ that you can read at your own leisure! I have two vegetarian cookbooks for the crockpot and a Frugal Vegan: Affordable, Easy & Delicious Vegan Cooking by Katie Koteen and Kate Kasbee. There’s another book I’ve seen on Instagram called ‘Vegan Reset: The 28-Day Plan to Kickstart Your Healthy Lifestyle‘ by Kim-Julie Hansen and I hope to find this book at the Queens Public Library so I can make some meals from the cookbook. I am open to trying something different since I grew up eating meats and I feel like I could use a healthy change. I intend on taking baby steps and begin this journey with Meatless Monday then work my way up to two days then three days then four days and so on with a plant-based diet. The curiosity has gotten the best of me and it’s going to be an interesting journey when I go on social gathering with friends and/or family or even when I go on dates. From the few conversations I’ve had with friends, not many of them are willing to try plant-based for whatever reason they have and I don’t know if it’s fear or pure ignorance of not liking the food or whatever reason, however, I cannot speak for them because it’s not my job to speak for them. I’m open to trying something different. I figured I'd start with this 10 day green smoothie cleanse before taking on the 22-Day Vegan Challenge and see how my experience goes from there. Before anyone asks what my experience was like, my response to your question is every person's experience is different and outcome is much different than the next person. This type may or may not be suitable for everyone's dietary needs or interests and I'm doing this for health, put an end to animal suffering, and for environmental reasons. Before I go on with this blog, I still yet have to try the Delverde - Fusilli with Chickpeas; Delverdi - Penne Rigate with Flax Seeds; and Barilla - Penne: Red Lentil that I had bought from Shop Rite a little over a month ago but I'm open to trying these types of vegan pastas. I'm going to either make some homemade vegan sauce or buy some Barilla sauce from BJ’s Wholesale Club.
-Netflix; Tubi; and YouTube-
“My own view is that being a vegetarian or a vegan is not an end to itself, but a means towards reducing both human and animal suffering and leaving a habitable planet to future generations.” ~ Peter Singer
I've been watching documentaries on both NetflixTubi; and YouTube along with other forms of research for this blog. This includes videos on how animals are being slaughtered for food; clothing; leather; and furniture. I’ve found three articles on vegan fashion: Why You Should Care About Vegan BeautyPETA: These Eco, Vegan-Friendly Clothing Brands Belong In Your Closet; and LA Times: LA’s Vegan Fashion Week Showcases Stylish, Cruelty-free creativity for your own reading leisure. You can see the fear in these animals’ eyes and it’s no joke but I don’t necessarily agree with slaughtering animals for food and clothing. However, if you say that you “love” animals and rescue animals, then what are you putting on your plates at meal time and into your bodies? Hypocrite much? I’m not saying that I agree or disagree on peoples dietary choices and find your own reasons why you’d go plant-based. I personally want to go vegan because I choose vegan for health reasons because I’ve always been a yo-yo dieter and my weight always fluctuates. That’s one of my personal reasons and my second reason is to end animal suffering. Most people would say going vegan/plant-based will be a costly way of life and I’m very skeptical of that statement but I am looking to spend several months looking into it between buying meats verses going plant-based. In my opinion, I think meats are more expensive because you’re paying by the pound and I would have to calculate what I’ve spent when the time comes. In the end, I have noticed the difference between consuming meats and doing the 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse. For example: I’ve noticed that I’ve felt meh, sluggish, and lethargic blah each time I’ve consumed meats. I didn't feel as confident whenever I ate meats and I've always felt intimidated in going vegan because I was and still am worried about what people will think if I were to mention it in conversation. With the 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse, I’ve noticed a remarkable difference with my energy level rising; I honestly felt energetic, light, sexy, and I loved how it made me feel by the end of the ten days!!! You’d have to figure out what works for you and commit to it for as long as possible. I recently bought Raw Sugar: Simply Hand-wash Cold Press Raw Coconut & Mango from Walgreens around my way, so far, I like it and I also like how it makes my hands smell! It gives me that happy feeling. The documentaries I've watched [so far] were: Forks Over Knives; Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret; What the Health; Game Changers on Netflix; and Earthlings on YouTube. I'm still on the search for any interesting reads on the vegan lifestyle and if you’re an athlete, I would highly recommend Game Changers. So far I've read several books on the health benefits of going vegan. So far, I have two vegetarian cookbooks for the crock pot ('Fresh from the Vegetarian Slow Cooker'  by Robin Robertson; '125 Best Vegetarian Slow Cooker Recipes' by Judith Finlayson); ‘Frugal Vegan: Affordable, Easy & Delicious Vegan Cooking’ by Katie Koteen and Kate Kasbee of Well Vegan; and ‘10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse: Lose Up to 15 Pounds in 10 Days!’ by JJ Smith. Here are more information on documentaries for you to check out at you own convenience: The 33 Best Vegan Documentaries (Ultimate List); Here Are 8 of the Most Vegan Movies on Netflix; and 4 Things NO ONE TELLS YOU ABOUT GOING VEGAN - Real + Honest. Here's an additional video I've found on YouTube: Every Argument Against Veganism and I'm the kind of person who would listen to all sides of every argument before drawing my own conclusion.
-Frugal Vegan-
“I got into being vegan because I was simply looking to benefit from being more compassionate. I have since come to learn that it is an animal-based diet that is responsible for the overwhelming majority of cases of cancer, diabetes, obesity, multiple sclerosis, and all kinds of other problems.” ~ Steve-O
Several months ago I had purchased ‘Frugal Vegan: Affordable, Easy & Delicious Vegan Cooking’ by Katie Koteen and Kate Kasbee of Well Vegan at Queens General Hospital. Since having the book, I’ve made Penne with Pumpkin Cream Sauce; Minestrone Soup but didn’t have all of the ingredients for this particular dish, and I’ve also made the Sun-Dried Tomato White Bean Hummus. They came out good and I would make this dish again for Meatless Monday. Next dish I hope to make is a Pineapple Fried Rice dish and I’m a fan of pineapples along with fruits that are naturally sweet but I do enjoy chocolates every once in a while when the mood strikes! In the upcoming months when the economy slowly reopens [if it ever does] from the “novel” Corona virus, I hope to stop by at the Farmers’ Market in Union Square for some fruits and produce but I hope the oranges are just as sweet as the oranges I purchase at this Asian supermarket in Flushing, Queens (not far from the 7 train) because the oranges tastes much sweeter than the oranges I purchase at Key Food around my way. But I do want to provide both reading materials and videos that you can read at your own leisure and view these documentaries during your spare time throughout this blog. I do believe that this will educate those interested in a different way of life and develop a healthier way of eating... Before my stepfather’s death in January, he would always say that no one would eat my vegan cooking and he always acted like I forced him at gun point to eat vegan. Truth be told, he was a narrow minded individual who had zero interest of trying anything different and I hope he’s brought plenty of marshmallows where he’s at. If he had tried the vegan challenge then he’d be off his diabetes and other medications if he had gone down that route. I’m just saying but I’m not a doctor and I can’t worry about what other people do with their health. If you’re also looking to trying some face wash, so far I’ve tried the Pacifica Kale Detox Deep Cleaning Face Wash and I have zero complaints about this product since using it! When I worked at K.F.C/Taco Bell in Little Neck, New York, there was a customer (she was a regular customer with her sister and her dad), she would always order a vegetarian/vegan snacks and after a while she began ordering meats but I thought it was odd. She was saying that she missed eating meats and so far she’s the first person out of a small handful of people that I know of who are vegans that missed eating meats. In a way, this blog ties into Public Assistance Resources because of the Farmers Market link.
-Vegan Documentaries-
“I’m killing two bird at once, so to speak. Animal-based diet food kills people. This way, by going vegan... we get healthy and save animals. I’m being selfish, too, because I can get my employees healthier, we cut down sick days and gain more productivity.” ~ Steve Wynn
Here are several links for what you can watch on Netflix; YouTube; and Tubi TV. It’s a great way to educate yourselves on the vegan lifestyles and it may not be suitable for everyone’s dietary needs. You’ll never know who you’ll meet and enter a relationship with someone who is a vegan/vegetarian, so be as open minded as possible.
-Slaughterhouses-
When I first began doing research on the vegan lifestyle but not limited to reading books and articles online, I've also been watching videos on YouTube regarding slaughterhouses. It breaks my heart having to bear witness to slaughtering of animals. I'm also going to include several videos of how animals are slaughtered for food. Viewer discretion is advised for the following videos!
-Reading Material-
Do what you want with the information provided throughout this blog and vegan lifestyle may or may not be for everyone but don't knock it until you try it!!! Best to try it for twenty-one days and see where you are in the end.

Blessed be,
Jennifer

The Only NYC Department of Education Resources You Will Ever Need

“If kids have the opportunity to come together to get to know one another, they can judge for themselves who they want their friends to be. All children should have that choice. We, as adults, shouldn’t make those choices for children. That’s how racism starts.” ~ Ruby Bridges.

Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. I’ve been researching more resources for parents and teachers alike. And it’s different from my Public Assistance Resources blog in April, I mean, I’ll be providing certain information pertaining to what you need to know from my own personal knowledge. If you have any additional information that I may have missed or overlooked within this blog and feel free to pass that information along at your leisure. As I’m listening to music on Spotify and continuing to search for any additional information so I’m not missing any important information. Since the Corona virus had closed many educational facilities, and as well as non-essential stores/restaurants since March making it a challenge to keep up with your children’s remote learning or finding little odds and ends for financial purposes, which ties into Public Assistance Resources and an upcoming blog about vegan because at some point your children will eventually take up health classes in high school. In a way, when I was attending Benjamin N. Cardozo High School, I honestly didn’t know what a vegetarian or a vegan was in high school up until several years ago when I had found several cookbooks with vegetarian recipes and until the last five years when I began hearing about celebrities going vegan. I’m not going to get too heavily into the topic of veganism, it’s a conversation for another time. Here is a New York Times article on the Coronavirus: New York Times: Coronavirus in N.Y.C.: Latest Updates; and New York Closes Schools Through End of Academic Year to read at your own leisure.

If you have young children and enjoys coloring, I’ve found Coloring Castle and there’s different coloring activities such as Valentines Coloring PagesBirthday Coloring PagesMother’s Day Coloring PagesState Coloring Pages; and just to name a few. However, there are some educational coloring pages such as: AlphabetsStates Coloring PagesFood Pyramid and everything from this website are printer friendly or you can save them onto your flash drives. Again, you can refer to my previous blog, Public Assistance Resources to check out flash drives from Adorama or B&H and I would stay away from Walgreens, Staples or wherever flash drives are sold. If your dependent(s) have an upcoming [dental or pediatric] appointment or an unexpected trip to City MD: Urgent Care, make sure you have all of the forms that your child’s school sent home early in the academic school year which includes: Child & Adolescent Health Examination Form: NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene; and other documentation on hand but make sure you scan every piece of document onto your Kingston 128gb DataTraveler SE9 G2 USB 3.0 Flash Drive. My best advice is to create a folder for each of your dependents and make sure you put each of these documents in each of their designated folder. Send an email to your dependents teachers with these documents so your dependents teachers (including school nurse) cannot say shit that they’ve “never received” any of these documents and it’s always good to have proof if in the event that these teachers have something to say. Create a folder for your dependents which would include the year for each school semester, for example: if the school year begins in September then put the year (meaning from September 2019 - June 2020) then create ten folders in each of your children’s folders and also scan your children’s report cards per report card term. It’s best to be prepared than under prepared. Also include a scan of Allergies/Anaphylaxis Medication Administration Form: School Year 2020 - 2021; Emergency Contact Card; Child & Adolescent Health Examination Form: NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene; Consent to photograph, film, or videotape a student for non-profit; and Housing Questionnaire to your children’s folder. Another excellent reason to scan your dependents’ Child & Adolescent Health Examination Form is if you are planning to go back to college but your dependents aren’t old enough to stay home alone without ACS - Administration for Child Services making visits to your home and think of it this way, it’s best to make it less stressful for your children’s pediatrician to fill the same form twice. Best to do yourselves a favor by scanning and print a second copy for the college you wish to attend for the upcoming semester.

I’ve also found additional forms for IDNYC Middle School Card Application; IDNYC Application For Applicants Ages 10 - 13; RESIDENCY ATTESTATION for Applicant Age 10 -21; NYC DOE Student Verification Consent Form for IDNYC; RESIDENCY LETTER for a Student Enrolled in any Private, Parochial, or NYC DOE School; or a Head Start or Early Learn program; and RESIDENCY LETTER for Student enrolled in a Private or Parochial School you can send to your children’s teachers by email in hopes of them having common sense to print and fill out the forms so you can take your dependents to your local library. Only two Queens Public Libraries are: Central Queens Public Library and Flushing Queens Public Library. I’ve noticed that many grade schools aren’t teaching cursive writing much and I remember learning cursive writing in the fifth grade. Yes, I sadly realize technology has dumbed us down but many people are dependent on technology. I am not 100% sure which other Queens Public Library participates in the IDNYC program and it’s best to contact your local Queens Public Library at your earliest convenience. Links will be provided below for IDNYC applications and similiar forms for legal guardians to fill out. I’ve found a website where parents or guardians can print out pages for their children can learn cursive writing because these children are gonna have to eventually have to sign their names on the dotted line. Here are some websites for printer friendly pages: Cursive Writing Worksheets and Cursive Writing Worksheets to encourage your children to improve their penmanship. Best to be prepared for their future and you’re welcome. I encourage everyone to do their own personal research and let me know if I had missed anything within this blog. To a certain extent, this blog ties into the Public Assistance Resources blog.

 Warm blessings,
Jennifer

Public Assistance Resources

“The biggest and most deadly ‘tax’ rate on the poor comes from a loss of a various welfare state benefits - food stamps, housing subsidies and the like - if their income goes up.” ~ Thomas Sowell
Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy, and sane, especially those who are parents [regardless of marital status] with young children but I mean that with endearment (yeah right, *Please note the sarcasm*). All links are provided in this blog for easier access to necessary documents to print out but you can view them at your own leisure time. I wanted to provide New York City residents with some resources that I have on my end but to the best of my knowledge for the moment and one that comes to mind is Single Stop because I’ve utilized their services since early 2015 in regards of public housing; filing for my taxes for free (providing if you earn under $54,000 annually) which is called FREE In-Person TAX Preparation; annual Medicaid and SNAP recertification. Single Stop also assist people with applying for both SNAP and Medicaid or Medicare. However, the only resources I am only able to [currently] provide is Single Stop and as well as participating CUNY colleges such as CUNY - LaGuardia Community College and CUNY - Queensborough Community College. Don’t get me wrong, I am aware that there are other resources similar to Single Stop where you’d be able to get everything or get as much done as possible. To me, it’s worth it because I don’t even earn heck of a lot at Staples and especially during tax season where I don’t get to pay anything since it is after all is free in-person tax preparation. I’m not cut out in doing my own taxes since I become easily frustrated and yet impatient but I will give the tax preparers more credit than I will ever give myself in this life. I’m sure there’s people out there that have more confidence in me than I have from within. And come to think of it, I have one more resource for those with children living in the New York City area. It’s the Child Center of New York and they provide services for counseling or even employment opportunities. It’s best to contact Single Stop at your earliest convenience if you’ve felt that you’ve fallen on hard times with putting food on the table or keeping up with the rent, etc. So far, as far as my knowledge are Single Stop; Child Center of New York; and select CUNY Colleges that are actively participating in Single Stop. The rest I would have to research a little more and update this blog or extend this blog into a Public Assistances Part II. If you’re looking to apply for public assistance online, there is also ACCESS - HRA and Fresh EBT and you can also download both apps on your phone as well. Both apps are available on Android and iPhones. Here are several articles I’ve found: AM NY: Here is a list of resources for those struggling during the coronavirus crisisDaily News: How to stop NYC from starving: A coronavirus crisis imperativeUSDA: SNAP benefits up 40 percentNew York Post: Why NYC grocery stores that cater to the rich are struggling amid coronavirus; Daily News: New social distancing efforts coming to NYC farmers markets, as vendors fears a shutdown; and The New York Times: Why Outdoor Farmers’ Markets Matter More Than Ever. Again, feel free to check it out at you own leisure.

-CUNY College-
Participating CUNY [The City University of New York] colleges for Single Stop.
-SNAP [Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program] Benefits-
I am going to make an honest suggestion for those who have fallen on hard times in regards of putting food on the table is to apply for SNAP benefits is by making an appointment with Single Stop or through the website ACCESS - HRA, but first, you have two choices of Adorama or B&H: Photo Video Digital Cameras, Photography, Camcorders for flash drives and please do yourself a favor, buy yourself a flash drive such as a Kingston flash drive [in the links provided below] that can stay on your key chain full-time, gather all of your important documents and head to your local Queens Public Library [links are provided below] that have scanners and so far, I only know of four public libraries with scanners. Before you stop by at the library to scan your documents, make sure you have your landlord fill out the Primary Tenant’s Statement Regarding Occupancy of Secondary Tenant and this is when you make your way to the library to scan the documents. There should be considered miscellaneous set of documents but have the last ninety days worth of receipts from when you’ve gone grocery shopping and as well as clothes shopping. I would suggest gather all your receipts from clothes shopping, school supply shopping, if your phone carrier is: Boost MobileTotal WirelessT-Mobile; or Verzion [prepaid], visit a Duane Reade, CVS, or a Walgreen’s for a phone card and if you rely on public transportation, save all of your receipts for all three months. Make sure you pay for most or all of your groceries in cash so these people at the food stamp office cannot trace these transactions back to you and every once in a while is acceptable to use a charge card but not too often. On your flash drive, make sure you create a folder titled Public Assistance (all in capital so it’ll be easier to locate for future use); create separate folders to put different documents into each folder for when you’ll need to go into that specific folder for whatever documents you may need. At least have one folder titled Family Documents, meaning within that Public Assistance folder create a folder for yourself, if you’re married then create a separate folder for your spouse, and if you have dependents (children), create individual folders for everyone in your household. Be sure to even include an official transcript from high school, college, and also include at least your high school diploma along with at least two recent report cards from school. Do the same set of documents for you and your spouse and make sure you’ve included everything if in the event that these people at the food stamp office give you a hard time regarding your documents you’ve recently submitted. Let’s hope they’ll have all your documents on file and make sure you’ve scanned every document onto your flash drive as proof in case if your personal information gets lost in the mail. Reason being for individual folders for everyone living with you is because anything could happen within your household, meaning any situation relating to an unexpected death or a divorce then I’m sure you’re not looking to delete all the information you’ve spent time and energy scanning documents then having to start from scratch so to speak. When the time comes to do your annual recertification, make sure you make an appointment with Single Stop so they can properly assist you with your annual recertification for both SNAP and Medicaid. Just follow the guidelines for the documents you’ll need to submit and make sure you’ve scanned any paperwork that you’ve filled out so this way these people at the food stamp office cannot say shit to you that you’ve “never submitted” this document or that document. If you’re receiving SNAP benefits and Medicaid, check out these two articles but I don’t know how legit this is but worth the investigation of it: How To Increase Your Food Stamp Benefits and How to Get Free Government Internet and Laptop. Way I feel about the free laptop and free government internet is for Big Brother to keep tabs on your every move you make but not for your best interest but for themselves.
-SNAP Documents-
-Queens Library-
Here are some links to the four Queens public libraries with scanners. Be mindful that often times that some of these scanners tend to freeze up on you if you catch the scanner on its menstrual cycle so to speak and I know it sounds cheesy. I’ve had that experience before at both Bayside and Windsor where I was in the middle of scanning, the scanner just quits on me.
-Flash Drives-
Here are several links for flash drives at Adorama and B&H for your earliest convenience. K&M Camera is a third option for when Adorama and B&H are closed early on Fridays and closed on Saturdays (online shopping is available). Contact Adorama and B&H for upcoming holiday hours for any upcoming Jewish holidays. K&M Camera is open on Saturdays and it’s a great way to go shopping for specific photography items such as 35mm film or any other item you need if you need a specific item that same day. If you ask me, these flash drives are worth the investment for yourself and your children. It’s a headache when you’ve misplaced your flash drive and the option is yours to purchase any of these flash drives. If you’re a photographer or a graphic designer then I would highly suggest the Kingston 128gb flash drive.
  1. Kingston Technology DataTraveler SE9 G2 32GB Lightweight USB 3.0 Flash Drive for $9.99
  2. Kingston 64GB DataTraveler SE9 G2 USB 3.0 for $12.49
  3. Kingston 128GB DataTraveler SE9 G2 USB 3.0 for $25.99
Best of luck to those who are looking to apply for public assistance either for someone you know or yourself and your family. Pass this along to anyone needing assistance with groceries and I hope the information is useful. Be safe out there and be healthy. Don’t let the news media scare you because that’s what they do best!
Blessed be,
Jennifer
*Caution: At the time of this blog, there will be items at Adorama or B&H that will no longer be sold at these location in the future. For flash drives, best to have a flash drive to have on your key chain to prevent from misplacing/or losing flash drive.

The Unconventional Guide to Photo Challenge

"Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second." ~ Marc Riboud
Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans! I realize I am late with this but Gong Hay Fat Choy to my Asian fans, readers, and community. In the past year or two years, I've been looking for a fun, exciting photography challenge to participate in and haven't had the funds to make such purchase for 35mm film. I know I had promised a second blog within the month of January but had an unexpected death of my stepfather but I am nonchalant about it because life goes on and I had to also take care of myself health wise. (Sadly there's false accusations about my mother for being "selfish", all because she had gone to an optometrist in Manhasset, I digress). If you think about it or take it into serious consideration, if my mother's cataracts go much worse leaving her blind; if she doesn't take care of it now then how will she take care of her family? Best advice is to get your head out of your arse as a favor to yourself and to society. Well, any who, I've been wanting to do a photography challenge and have been using up the film currently in my possession before I purchase any additional film from either Adorama; B&H or K&M Camera. I've searched for several YouTube videos on photo challenges involving 35mm film but no luck as of yet and will continue searching for YouTube videos involving 35mm film photography challenges. I realize people use digital photography nowadays and I should get with the program of adopting the digital photography concept. I'll eventually adopt digital photography but will continue to look around for Nikon cameras when I'm ready and have my debt paid off.
"There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer." ~ Ansel Adams
What inspired me to do a photo challenge, I've been looking into different websites to help me improve my photography skills through [35mm] film and I've found about three different photography challenges for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 on The Photo Argus website. For a moment, I had to put all that on the back burner until over a month ago when I came across this YouTuber, Pierre T. Lambert while searching for a photography challenge while using 35mm film [36 exposure] but found Pierre T. Lambert to be very entertaining to watch and inspiring but informative in his own way. Watching his videos on YouTube makes me want to start doing YouTube videos but I'm camera shy and not fully comfortable being in front of the camera. All in all, my editing skills is at a zero at this point but willing to learn at my own pace so I can be up there with fellow photographers. My inspiration for a photography challenge is up there and it's not going to change, despite what all you haters may have to say because I know I have the eye and talent to become a successful photographer! I know I have potential as a photographer and have had three people telling me that I'd "never make it very far as a photographer" but I honestly don't know why I even listened to those individuals who are haters that try to discourage my potential as a photographer. What a waste of energy spent on listening to such low energy individuals. I'm going to continue to be inspired by what I see in my everyday life regardless of what people have to say about my pure greatness of what I have to offer in life and want to make my dream a reality. I'm going to be inspired by fellow photographers so I can continue to inspire myself and improve my photography skills. At the end of the day, I hope to post many pictures on my Flickr account once when I've found someone to assist me in editing my pictures before I post any pictures from the spring semester of 2013 at LaGuardia Community College until present day with 35mm film. To say the least, I hope to remain inspired in my everyday life and photography is everywhere; billboards, advertisements (fashion, food, etc when you look through magazines, menus, etc); social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, DeviantArt, no matter where you go here in New York City, you'll always find inspiration! That's what I love about living here in New York City, there's different opportunities to explore.
"Everything always looked better in black and white. Everything always looked as if it were the first time; there's always more people in a black and white photograph. It just makes it seem that there were more people at a gig, more people at a football match, than with colour photography. Everything looks more exciting." ~ Jack Lowden
I hope to continue to share more content with you in the upcoming months and hope to receive feedback from the general public in regards of what you hope to read or inquire more information about. I currently shoot with a 35mm film camera, a Minolta X-370 but still does the job and I use a combination of black and white and colour film. I enjoy using film because I feel like I can learn more from using film than digital photography and my goal is to continue to improve my photography skills. Also drop off thirty rolls of film that I currently have and I also have ten unused films, several of them are expired. I have seventeen rolls of film a friend of mine had given me several years ago and they're expired, I'm aware of the film being expired. I have several other rolls of film that are either expired or on the verge of being expired and I intend on dropping off the thirty rolls of film off at B&H when time permits. For the time being, I'll be thinking of new writing material for upcoming photography blogs.
Warm blessings,
Jennifer

Film vs. Digitial [Photography]

"If I didn't have my camera to remind me constantly, I am here to do this, I would eventually have slipped away, I think. I would have forgotten my reason to exist." ~ Annie Leibovitz
Happy New Year and first blog of the year! Good morning; afternoon; and evening friends and fans out in the world taking care of business or sitting down reading this during their spare time. As the year is just beginning and I would like to give my review on [35mm] film and digital photography. I may not own a DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) camera but a proud camera mom to a lovely Minolta X-370, a 35mm film camera and have a point and shoot camera. Since the spring semester of 2013, I have not used a point and shoot camera since, I've gone with a 35mm film camera and have invested hundreds and thousands of dollars investing in film since then. Yes, shooting film can be cost effective between purchasing film and dropping them off at B&H, well, whenever I use colour film. Since I haven't been in a classroom environment at LaGuardia Community College since the fall semester of 2014; I'd have to be a current student in order to use their darkroom to develop my own black and white film such as Ilford Delta 100; Ilford Delta 400; Ilford Delta 3200; Ilford HP5; Kodak Tri-X and just to name a few [36 exposure]. That's the struggle of using film for street photography or any event. Have no fear, I'll eventually upgrade to a DSLR camera once when I've furthered my educational in Commercial Photography and have enough funds to transition to a DSLR camera.

-Film Photography-
"I fell in love with the darkroom, and that was part of being a photographer of the time. The darkroom was unbelievably sexy. I would spend all night in the darkroom." ~ Annie Leibovitz
Since shooting film from the spring semester of 2013 until present day, I enjoy shooting film despite the financial cost of buying and dropping the film off at B&H. I do intend on buying the fifty pack of the Ilford HP5 and/or Ilford XP2 films from B&H or Adorama when I've paid off my two charge cards and begin paying off my [Nelnet] student loans from when I was attending TCI: College of Technology (from 2007 - 2008 for three semesters) then purchase film. What I like about using film is the contrast and it doesn't lack what digital photography brings to the table. The colours are bright and not looking distorted the way digital photography looks or looking all crazy in megapixels. Either way, film and digital both still produces lovely pictures, however, I fancy film over digital due to contrast and the grain of it. Film brings out the colour more brightly than digital which I like and in favor of at the moment. I love the photography aspect of film but not so much the cost of buying and dropping the film off at B&H for film processing. All in all, I do enjoy the outcome of what I've taken thus far. I do feel like film photography can be the best or the worst teacher if you're on your own, starting out. There's that level of gratification when it comes down to film photography and there's that silent satisfaction of shooting film. There's that joy, satisfaction and that instant gratification when shooting film and being able to view them; to me, it feels like Christmas morning once when I've spent the amount of money on buying and dropping off the film. In the end, it is worth it because you can ultimately learn from film of what to do; what to avoid; and what not to do on your next photography adventure; what to avoid; and what not to do in the future. Again, in the end, it may be worth it (despite the cost) and as much as you're tempted to "delete" a picture which is impossible to do with film photography. At least you can somehow learn from it and it is a learning experience for those who have zero experience of using film photography. I do feel like people rely too much on digital photography because there is that instant gratification involved that film may not have and I do love that gratification of film photography.

-Digital Photography-
"I never have taken a picture I've intended. They're always better or worse." ~ Diane Arbus
Onto digital photography of pros and cons of what I like, enjoy and dislike when it comes down to using digital photography. I personally find digital photography lacks in contrast, that same contrast that you'd find in film photography. In regards of black and white photography, to me it's not the same as using films such as Ilford HP5 or Ilford XP2 and the Kodak brands of black and white films. That same gratification doesn't feel the same but there's that instant gratification whenever you take pictures but so very easy to delete these very photos due to your own dislike for that particular picture. Yes, digital photography is very cost effective but doesn't share the same common feature but then at the same token, it's annoying when you have to empty your memory card then transfer your pictures and/or videos onto CD's/DVD's. If in the distant future, I'll invest in a DSLR camera and use the camera for YouTube and concert purposes while I continue to use my 35mm film camera [Minolta X-370]. I hope to feature a photography challenge in my next blog and will make sure it's posted by the end of the month. The pros of digital photography is its cost effectiveness and instant gratification but the con is that you don't feel like a kid on Christmas morning opening gifts and your parents seeing your facial expression. Digital photography has its own self/instant gratification. In the end if you ask me which I have more an appreciation for in regards of digital photography or film, I would say I now have more of an appreciation for film than I do for digital but both are equally similar in their own way and both offer the same outcome regarding photography.

Warm blessings,
Jennifer
